SCOPE
It covers 4 counties namely; Eastern, central and rift valley.
OBJECTIVES
To contribute to increasing productivity, commercialization and competitiveness of small producers and SMAEs in the project’s pilot sites.
- Producers and SMAEs that will be the direct beneficiaries of project support should realize 10-15 percent increases in income even during the relatively short life of the project.
- The project will reinforce institutional capacity to accelerate and sustain progress with respect to the commercialization and competitiveness priority area of the ASDS, thereby contributing to the Government’s objective of position the agricultural sector as a key driver for economic development of the country.

- Commercially viable and mutually beneficial business models linking producers to SMAEs in place and working
Improved institutional capacity is used to upscale and replicate linkage models and provide complementary support to increase value addition and competitiveness.
